Week 1 of Diet – Sunni’s low Carb diet



Unfortunately I was on antibiotics during this week and was extremely nauseous the entire time so I had to make some substitutions and had to add carbs in order to settle my stomach.
Day 1:
Breakfast: Scrambled eggs and avocado
Mid-Morning Snack: Orange
Lunch: Grilled chicken and spinach salad
Mid-Afternoon Snack: Handful of pistachios
Dinner: Pasta with red sauce and lead ground beef
Desert: Nothing – had a late dinner due to clinic

Day 2:
Breakfast: Greek Yogurt and fruit
Mid-Morning Snack: Toast with peanut butter to settle stomach
Lunch: Chicken and spinach salad
Mid-Afternoon Snack: Boiled ginger root in water to make tea and added organic syrup to sweeten to settle my stomach.
Dinner: Left over pasta with red sauce and lean ground beef.
Desert: Nothing

Day 3:
Breakfast: Was very sick this morning so I had some whole wheat bread with my egg and avocado.
Mid-Morning Snack: Ginger root tea to settle stomach
Lunch: I really dislike Salmon so I had white fish with brown rice
Mid-Afternoon Snack: broccoli with ranch dip (I had trouble eating it plain)
Dinner: Lean Turkey in whole wheat wrap with spinach, tomatoes, hummus and avocado.
Desert: Made white cake with vanilla honey Greek yogurt.
 
Day 4:
Breakfast: Greek yogurt with fruit and granola (didn’t have any flax seed)
Mid-Morning Snack: Ginger Root Tea and a piece of toast with peanut butter.
Lunch: Lean Turkey in whole wheat wrap with spinach, tomatoes, hummus and avocado.
Mid-Afternoon Snack: Handful of Walnuts
Dinner: Lean Turkey in whole wheat wrap with spinach, tomatoes, hummus and avocado.
Desert: Left over white cake with vanilla honey Greek yogurt.

Day 5:
Breakfast: Greek yogurt with fruit and granola (didn’t have any flax seed)
Mid-Morning Snack: Toast with peanut butter
Lunch: Lean Turkey in whole wheat wrap with spinach, tomatoes, hummus and avocado.
Mid-Afternoon Snack: Handful of walnuts
Dinner: Had left over Turkey so made a taco salad with spinach and tomatoes.
Desert: Left Over white cake with vanilla honey Greek yogurt.

Day 6:
Breakfast: Was very sick this morning so I had some whole wheat bread with my egg and avocado.
Mid-Morning Snack: Ginger Root Tea
Lunch: Grilled chicken breast with brown rice
Mid-Afternoon Snack: Banana
Dinner: white fish with left over brown rice
Desert: Left Over white cake with vanilla honey Greek yogurt.

Day 7:
Breakfast: Greek yogurt with fruit and granola (didn’t have any flax seed)
Mid-Morning Snack: Orange
Lunch: Grilled chicken breast with brown rice
Mid-Afternoon Snack: broccoli and cheese (couldn’t eat it alone)
Dinner: Left over brown rice and white fish
Desert: Left Over white cake with vanilla honey Greek yogurt.
